Duchess Fare ("Duchess" for my married name, Sarah Ferguson) grew out of my love for all things Lifestyle -- food, travel, people, design -- plus my passion for uncovering and highlighting vintage pieces & interesting one-of-a-kind decor.
I was raised in Fairfield County, CT, currently reside in the South, & in between the two, been fortunate to have lived in various parts of Southeast Asia. Since moving to Atlanta in 1997, my job experiences are stitched together like a patchwork quilt.... having worked for interior designer Meg Adams formerly of Pineapple House, cooking at the teeny tiny soup cafe - Souper Jenny, putting together flower arrangements at the loveliest of Buckhead shops - Pollen Flowers & Goods, working at an Atlanta based specialty food company for Smith Hanes at Bella Cucina Artful Food and finally striking out on my own with my business - Girl Friday - part personal assistant, personal cook, personal shopper, and personal organizer for my wonderful clients.
I am pleased to be included as a contributing vendor to One Kings Lane's Vintage & Market Finds site.
